As you may already know, Asia Pacific Education Corporation (APEDU) welcomed Stewart College to the family in November 2016. Asia Pacific Education is an Education Investment company operating in Vancouver, Canada. APEDU also owns Canadian Tourism College and co-owns CG Master’s School of Animation and VFX. APEDU’s President and Chairman, Feroz Ali, is now excited to reveal that Stewart College will be changing its name to Sterling College, effective July 2017. Sterling College is registered with PTIB (Private Training Institutions Branch) of the B.C. Ministry of Advanced Education as a school that can provide not just ESL training, but also provide career building diplomas and certificates. Asia Pacific Education Group’s CEO, Benjamin Colling explained, “When we set out to acquire an ESL school, we were looking for one that had a great reputation and fantastic staff, which is why we chose Stewart College. Our intention at the time was to create the ability for our ESL students to gain entry into our hospitality and tourism programs offered by Canadian Tourism College (CTC). In addition to changing the name of Stewart College to Sterling College, we are proud to announce that we recently gained approval from the B.C. government to offer CTC programs in our Victoria location, starting in September 2017.”
The Sterling name represents high standards, engaged students, and outcomes that surpasses the needs of industry. We look forward to the continued success of our students and staff as Sterling College and Canadian Tourism College provides an excellent educational experience to its students.
