Sterling College has a long history of providing quality English and Nursing programs. We believe students learn best when they are in a strong community and familial atmosphere. Our goal is for our students to be inspired through professional training, engaged with each other and in the community, and transformed through their experience at Sterling College.
Our English courses include part-time and full-time Power English (English as a Second Language), Academic English and Vacation English programs for all seasons and ages.
Our Nursing programs include the Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice and Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice with Co-op.
We provide students with the training they need to complete and pass the examinations required to become a certified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Canada.
With three Sterling College campuses in British Columbia, you can be sure to find one that is convenient for you. The Vancouver location is situated in the heart of downtown, easily accessible by transit and close to beautiful Vancouver Convention Centre on the waterfront. The Surrey campus is also close to transit and central to shopping and parks. Our Victoria location can be found next to the YM-YWCA and close by the Royal Theatre and Greater Victoria Public Library. You will find sightseeing attractions, restaurants and shops close to all of our great locations!
We are known for our beautiful and abundant provincial parks and ocean views.

Having a comfortable place to stay while you study is important to make the most of your time here. We do not currently provide accommodations on campus. “Homestay”, where you live with a local family while studying in Canada, is one popular accommodations option for many international students.
