Job Description:
Sterling College is looking for a knowledgeable Healthcare Practice and Management Instructor to teach our diploma program. The successful candidate will have a robust background in healthcare management, along with the necessary qualifications and certifications. This role requires adherence to all relevant licensing requirements recognized by the Government of British Columbia. The position involves developing and delivering course content, assessing student performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction in healthcare practice and management, covering areas such as healthcare systems, ethics, leadership, and operations management.
• Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams, ensuring they meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student work to support their academic and professional growth.
• Mentor and guide students to prepare them for careers in healthcare management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing and certification requirements recognized by the Government of British Columbia.
• Stay current with healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes to keep the curriculum up-to-date.

Minimum Instructor Qualifications:

• A Certificate, Diploma, or Post-Secondary degree relevant to healthcare management AND two years of full-time work experience in a career occupation relevant to healthcare management; OR
• 10 years of full-time work experience in a career occupation relevant to healthcare management.
• Must meet all licensing and certification requirements recognized by the Government of British Columbia.
