Job Description:
Sterling College is looking for a qualified Software Development Instructor to teach in our diploma program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for educating the next generation of developers. This role includes developing and delivering course content, evaluating student progress, and maintaining a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction in software development.
- Create and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work.
- Mentor and guide students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in software development and integrate them into the curriculum.
Minimum Instructor Qualifications:
- A Certificate, Diploma, or Post-Secondary degree relevant to software development AND two years of full-time work experience in a career occupation relevant to software development; OR
- 10 years of full-time work experience in a career occupation relevant to software development.
Eligibility:
- Only Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada are encouraged to apply.
