Did you know that Sterling College has now entered a partnership with Red Deer College in Alberta?
Through this partnership, we are able to offer programs that are designed to enhance skills, build expertise and get job-ready! Two of these programs are in Information Technology—the Diploma in Software Development and the Diploma in Network Administration. These programs both run for 48 weeks and are taught with industry professionals using state-of-the-art technology and tools. We are also offering a new nursing program, the Post Degree Certificate in Health Care Practice and Management, designed to help IENs take on leadership roles in the Canadian healthcare environment. Diploma in Software Development
Program Focus: Earn a diploma with technical skills in software development that will meet the needs of the industry! This program will prepare students for employment in entry-level developer or tester roles in a range of organizational contexts, or to proceed to further study. The program is designed for students who would like to focus on one or more application domains, such as general Application Development, Web Development, Games Development, or Mobile Applications Development.
Program length: (48 weeks) – 960 contact hours.

Diploma in Network Administration
Program Focus: The purpose of the Diploma in Network Administration program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level employment in the computer networking field, or to advance their current career. The program will help students achieve a qualification in IT networking that meets industry needs.
Program Length: (48 weeks) – 960 contact hours
Graduate Career Opportunities: Graduates will be prepared to enter into various network administration roles in industries ranging from finance to healthcare.

Post Degree Certificate in Health Care Practice and Management
Program Focus: The Post Degree Certificate in Health Care Practice and Management is a non-credit program that prepares Internationally Educated Nurses to integrate their prior education and take on management or leadership roles in the dynamic Canadian healthcare environment.
In this comprehensive and applied two-year program, learners will enhance their theoretical nursing knowledge and clinical nursing skills within the Canadian context. The program draws upon management and organizational knowledge to support those who aspire to manage and lead within healthcare organizations. Foundational business and management concepts are applied to challenges faced by both public and private healthcare organizations.
Program Length: 2 years
